you can't look at currency by converting to dollars, there is a reason why people go to the west to make money to send home. $25 is like hour or 2 to make in USA but to make 2500yen is probably a days worth(minimum wages)

2024-02-18 16:50:28 +0000 UTCI´m late to the reaction :c I see a lot of reactions or coments to other reactions to people hating Emmi, but most people don't try to understand her, but see it like this, for them (people in Ente Isla, Mao was like Hitler, Killing their race for conquest and the existence of their demon kind only (Or at least that is the perspective of everyone on their side). You can she is just being manipulated by the Church, but not even us as viewers know that, If we aply that way of thinking in the real world, we same can be said in the real world, why do we believe the history books that Hitler did bad things, but we do believe them because that is what we've been taught. I would feel very similar to Emilia if someone's army killed my dad at a very young age (remember Emilia confronted him about it, and not even he denied it, he just said sorry and that he didn´t comprehend humans before as he does now). Also if Hitler came back and started doing good things now, do you think Jews would forgive him, just because of those good actions, it would be hard to forgive, at least Emilia is not kiling him right away and tryes to understand him his reasoning more, so I think she's more benevolent than I would be with the supposed killer of my dad. Granted there might be another reason for mao to have done what he did, but no one knows that, not even we as viewers know! Furthermore, he still says he´ll go back to conquest Ente Isla again. Sorry for the long text, I wanted to get My point of view through. If even after reading this people have a different opinion to mine, I have nothing but respect for your opinion, every one views thing diferently. And if some one has a diferent approach to this, i would love to hear it. Love your reactions keep up the grat work!!

As a result he ended up burying heads with humans and then the war between humans and demons began. His goal was never to wipe out humanity

2022-07-30 12:23:34 +0000 UTCI kinda hate Emi a bit for bullying and being mean to demons and especially Maou. She is like a kid - demons are bad because Church told me so, it's like she doesn't think for herself. Yes, she knows that demon king's Army destroyed her hometown with her father (and she angry about that) but is this true or maybe Church made that up? Although did we know WHO started the War between Humans and Demons? Yes, I know that narrator in episode 1 of season 1 told us that Demons invaded humans but I'm sceptic. Do we have a confirmation of that from Maou himself? If Maou really was so cruel and BIG BAD GUY how he changed to be so nice guy so fast in our world?? I can't believe that person can change his nature to total opposite. Maybe humans attacked first and kinda fucked up? Then decided to bring hero to kill "evil" demons? About your question: No I don't think that they mentioned what happened to Emilia's mother. In the flashback we only saw how father told Emi that her mother was angel and that's all. About white haired girl: Yes I also thing that she can be Emilia's mother. 1st - she's angel and 2nd she has white hair like Emi in her "Hero" form.
