Patreon Update: We're going back to the big Company docs + next Wrestling vid!

Hey hey, thought I'd quickly give you people a lil' update on what's currently going on! 

The final Sega arcade video (for now) on Sega Model 1 is almost finished -- just working my way through it in the old editing suite right now. It may well be up later on today if all goes well! And after that...I think, finally, it's time to go back to the documentaries about UK games companies -- after a few months away from them (that I think were a bit needed) I'm ready to go back.

If you've been following happenings on Twitch and all that, then it'll come as no surprise that the next UK games company documentary will be on Codemasters -- I've already started capturing for it. The video will be covering the classic period of the company -- that being the beginning, all the way up to and including PS1. I didn't really want to go too far into their modern age -- I have no desire for tons of modern F1/racing games -- but it'll be good to see how they survived one of the deadliest times for old UK companies. And obviously there's a LOT of games :) most of my capture sessions will end up streamed on Twitch, so you'll probably be seeing me on there a lot over the next week or so! I'm hoping that the video touches down at the end of this month.

I am determined for the next wrestling video to be something a lil' bit lighter in scope, especially after the epic shootstyle one, and the very sad Morishima one. This was suggested by Jim Nelson, so thanks -- I thought it would be a good shout to look at around five now defunct Puro companies, and see how they ended up burning out. There's plenty of candidates here, of course -- Tenryu's exploits with SWS and WAR, HUSTLE being torn apart by the huge Dream Stage/Yakuza scandal, Shibata and Big Mouth Loud, World Japan, FMW, the very recently departed WRESTLE-1...there's more than enough of a neat little video and as ever, I'm aiming for touchdown at the end of the month -- ideally, July 30th. I'm also paying attention to other suggestions...the appetite is heavy, and I'm 95% certain that the next video after that will be a Joshi-centric video. It remains to be seen what that will be.

Lastly, thanks to all of you on here who've been watching on Twitch! I'm really happy I made the full move to streaming there -- honestly, I couldn't stand streaming on YouTube anymore. Now I've got a good schedule, it keeps getting better every time I stream and I look forward to it so much! It's been a massive boost. Who knows, perhaps we can get Partnership soon?
