This video is a bit of a love letter to the almighty CM 01/02, appropriately enough for the time. In the main this video looks at various Championship Manager legends -- players who are most certainly better known for how good they are in the game as opposed to anything they did in their career. The likes of Tonton Zola Moukoko, Maxim Tsigalko, Cherno Samba and the most interesting of them all -- To Madeira, a man who CM 01/02 basically positions as the greatest player of all-time. How did his career go?...well, let's find out.

My Champ Manager story is from Champ Manager 2 I think. I was managing Barca and my star player was Pep Guardiola. He got injured 2nd game, so I was forced to chuck a youth player in. His name was Xavi. He played so well that Pep never got back in the team and I sold him for a packet to Serie A. Two years later this exact thing happened in real life! How good was that database?
