Honestly, the MC is kind of a scumbag. He gets a girlfriend and shortly afterward tells her to change. And despite it being very obvious that his girlfriend is depressed as a result, he keeps pushing his own selfish view on how she should be on her for weeks... making both of them miserable and even dragging his gf's best friend with it. Well, it is one criticism I have with these kinda generic MC's in many slice of life anime. They're often very self-centered and entitled. And whatever little character development they have is pretty slow and minor.
