Damn, Gotta vote for Irregular... but How Not To Summon a Demon Lord is fantastic and fun as well. Just glad to see both of them on here. Knights and Magic gets a bad rep too, but that one's fun as well.

What I need to do is get the footage for every episode of Horimiya, Mushoku Tensei, JJK, etc and then start working on getting that all together. I will be on vacation in November so I think I'll work on getting that edited so I can release a bunch through December.

The LNs are rly gud cuz whenever a new spell is introduced, there's like 1-3 pages describing the specific components of the spell, and how it works etc, then maybe if it's critical to story/point some time later in future, it may get a paragraph speedrun on what exactly it does, as a quick refresher for ppl w/ inferior memory capacity. It's like reading a book about engineering/physics mechanics, basically engineering lite in a way

Could be because the anime came out like 2007 however. Ouran High School Host Club is another one from 2006-ish. Vampire Knight (2008) and Kaichou wa Maid-sama! (2010) I believe Host club is the more well known here though of the ones I said with the possible exception of "All flags lead to Doom" as that is new

2022-08-28 23:58:11 +0000 UTCBookworm is a shojo by the way a least the manga is one and for josei it quite of hard to find one because 90% of story that would have be sell as josei in199x are brand as seinen nowday for easier sell basicaly : ranking of king , shadow house and to your eternity look a lot like a josei story it just that josei autor have understant it easier to sell a seinen story that a josei one the most clear one is shadow house : it have everythink that have josei story exept the name of josei when i first read it i totaly think it was a josei in a way it a good think for this type of story because it hard to sell a josei where it quite easy to sell a seinen with exactly the same story

Season 2, on the other hand, kind of fell off from countries outside of Japan... especially since when it aired, it had fierce competition from the likes of Jujutsu Kaisen, Damnachi, and AoT.

And besides, just because many people post reactions to a certain show doesn't automatically make it "mainstream". Personally, I think I'm already burned out by a lot of the power fantasy animes with an OP MC, who also happens to have this weird brocon/siscon relationship of sorts. I can definitely tell you that among the list that people are voting for, the only non-mainstream shows are Knights and Magic and Yona of the Dawn... the rest already have too much exposure tbh. But whatever makes everyone happy, I guess. If Irregular at Magic High School wins, it's probably another reaction I'll pass on.

The Irregular at Magic High School is expectedly popular enough to deserve the top spot but I would have liked a show that was more obscure instead of the really mainstream ones. Just want to watch series that people are interested in. For example, Spice and Wolf won the previous isekai/fantasy poll and the videos in season 2 have like 15 views each.
