2022-09-06 19:01:47 +0000 UTCwell... as the story mostly follow the paces of manga adaptation, it's gonna be slow... This episode is around manga vol.5 but Japan only have 8 volumes at the moment. The original LN seems to be even slower and the popularity is lower than manga adpatation so I am quite sure we are following manga. Some of details was skipped this episode, when he fills the bathtub using waterwall and fire ball continuously, he actually run out of MP several times and need to keep travelling between labyrinth and bathroom just to recover his MP and fill the bath with magic. I think that's really realistic and funny how he is so insist to enjoy his bath. If you wish for more labyrinth story, there should be more in next episode.

It isn't covered in the anime, but there are plenty of tales of explorers moving too fast and dying, and the main character took that to heart and is possibly overly cautious. And every time he starts to be less cautious, something reminds him of the danger. In this episode it was the Beep Sheep. There was a possibility he could die from such a sleep effect. He plans to get another front line fighter so that at least one person will be awake under such conditions. The pace of exploration will pick up, but as soon as he gets another companion, there will be world building around that. This really needs more seasons to do the story justice. It is a very slow burn story and concentrates on the relationship between the hero and Roxanne, and the rest of the harem takes a back seat in comparison.
