Just to let you know... They kill characters off in the side story novels Sword Oratoria, sooooo... Never expect characters in the main series to stay safe either. Also, the reason no one believes Cassandra is because she's cursed to not be believed, as she is based on Cassandra from Greek Mythology, who predicted the fall of Troy but was cursed by Apollo to never be believed. So yeah, no one is gonna listen to poor Cassandra, which is why she is trying to change fate herself. And everybody is relying on Bell to trust her because he is immune on status effects like Ishtar's and Freya's charm and Cassandra's curse.

2022-09-09 14:42:44 +0000 UTCWell technically Elves and Gnomes ARE in the Fairy designation, tho (Welf's ancestor got his magic sword capabilities cuz he saved a fairy from death, and later when ancestor got injured lethally, said fairy fixed him up by using his own blood, which basically despite said ancestor being Human, made him capable of making rly OP magic weapons that the entire family became famous for). It's basically the category just below Spirits (2nd purest lifeforms in the world (spiritual essence wise that is), only below the Gods themselves), so the closest that mortals could reach, since Spirits are already pseudo-gods on some smaller scale, from mortal scrubs' POV, before the gods actually descended to have fun on Gekai. Basically some of the local gods globally before that were actually really OP Spirits, not actual legit legit gods
