btw in the comics the fight of omni-man v guardians of the globe was completely one sided omni-man wiped the floor with them and he didnt get hurt either

This feels like a planned type of thing to me. Unfortunately this worlds version of the justice league will never get the chance to figure out who Darkwing really is. bummer. 2021-10-02 01:08:53 +0000 UTCThe Guardians aren't so much a JLA ripoff as the JLA itself being the source of many of the classical superhero archetypes that they are references to. A few of the less obvious, less JLA touchstones even fly under the radar for folks who aren't super into comic books. Red Rush being a nod to the cold war era trend of throwing a Russian guy onto the team (often with "Red" in their name). Green Ghost being a nod to classic heroes like Hourman or Elasticman whose powers came from paraphernalia they ingested and were only temporary. There's a lot going on there.
