He got red arrowed and nothing interesting happened in the whole time period, yeah I get it, it was the only way the girl would trust him, but it's just disappointing. Look, I haven't read the source material, I don't even know what the source material is, but I can already guess what's gonna happen next episode. The only conceivable reason for a red arrow not to work is that the target is already red arrowed. So who red arrowed metropolitan man? No one. That's not Metropolitan man, it's just a fall guy in a suit that's been charmed by M-man, who just dropped him there and flew off. Protag-kun even asked why M-man isn't getting his wings ready, because the decoy doesn't have any wings. Nase mentioned that there are about 3 special grade angels ergo we have 3 white arrows. I'm guessing M-man decoy will be snipped from a huge distance by a white arrow by our mystery third special grade candidate and then we will have the real M-man doing his little speech on a huge monitor of "aha, I have been betrayed, but I am three steps ahead yadda yadda". Now, it's not a bad bit... BUT if this is what will happen I will be so pissed, because it's exactly what L did in death note and so far the author has just been recycling all the plot point from death note: high school kid with super powers; death god / angel invisible to normal humans; Light had a stalker girlfriend with more powers than him to be his eyes, while he was always cold and distant with her / now the protagonist is the stalker- wannabe boyfriend with more powers than her and he is her wings while she is cold and distant. This show really is a convoluted rehashing of old ideas and I'm gonna be extra mad if the ending will just be future diary's ending all over again.
