This week we finished Chunibyo! That means we will need a new anime to replace it. This time, I am looking for a comedy or drama with no romantic main plot. If it's romance then recommend it when I ask for romance. I'll be starting the poll winner by 10/20.

Btw, after looking into it more, I don't think this can be considered, because you're right it is most definitely romance. MAL keeps the "Romance" tag under themes and Anohana has no themes for some reason. Everywhere else this is listed as a Romance.

Hinamatsuri. Feels, funny, slice of life. MC is a yakuza gangster, gangster by day party man by night that is until an unexpected arrival. A young girl ends up dropping in unannounced and hilarity ensues. (Comedy, light action, supernatural powers). (2018 - 12 episodes)

Barakamon. Cute, feels, slice of life. MC travels(banished) to small island town as punishment and ends up finding friends and inspiration from the locals. I like that they cast real kids as the VAs for the kids on the island, they sound cute and they're super funny. (2014 - 12 episodes)

Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear is pretty great. It's an isekai, yeah, but I think the adaptation kept the comedy while making the tense moments feel more so from great voice acting. Animation is also pretty good. I definitely recommend this one.
