Abnormal Class doesn't seem clunky at all + misfit class loses the double meaning that abnormal would have. a misfit class only really relays the idea of a class made of people who don't fit in. Abnormal can mean that too but it can also be seen as a class that is abnormal because they are all abnormally talented, abnormally gifted, which the class also it. Misfit class is just straight up a worse term for it.
