Plus, Tatsuya has his goals that involves not fucking things up with the Ten Master Clan. What did you expect him to do? Throw a baby rage about not wanting to fight? Everyone in the room knew that he would have the best chance of bringing the team victory, so it's his duty as a team member to step up. That's what it means to be a part of the team. Juumonji is right on this one, Tatsuya is just making excuses He's a pushover only for his sister, for reasons that will make perfect sense later on.

2022-10-18 19:10:49 +0000 UTCin term of anime adaptations: -Season 1 covers LN volumes: 1-4 and 6&7 (volume 5 has a buch of side stories) -Season 2 covers LN volumes 9-11 -"The Irregular at Magic High School: Reminiscence Arc" a 70 min OVA/Special thingy covers LN volume 8 (flashback volume, best to watch either after season 1 or 2) -"Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei Movie: Hoshi wo Yobu Shoujo" an original movie; in the timeline somewhere between episode 11 and 12 of season 2 (I would watch it after season 2) -"The Honor at Magic High School" anime adaptation of a spinoff manga; the story of the first 18 episodes of season 1 from a different perspective (similar to "DanMachi: Sword Oratoria") (Overall lower production value in almost everythig; in my opinion only for diehard fans and not worth a reaction)

The events are pretty interesting for sports like competition but for magic but nothing beats live combat lmao edit: Since it's aired weekly they just do a short recap of what happened at the end of the episode. Didn't really make sense for that scene to be added after the credit and could have just placed it before the ED
