2022-10-20 17:01:51 +0000 UTCI actually watched the whole thing already and I wouldn't consider it romance honestly. A romance series needs to have that romantic element front and center and the main theme. Supernatural, action, comedy, drama is more accurate imo.

Angel beats is Drama, Supernatural on MAL, Fantasy on Wikipedia (for some reason?), Action and Comedy on IMDB and action, comedy, drama, fantasy, romance on AnimeNewsNetwork. So yeah, It's romance as a genre in atleast one place! :D
