S1 takes about 6 volumes. I think you will read only 12 volumes. Because at the end of 12 volumes is good conclusion of arc. Only my thought: I think that S2 finish around near end 12vol.

I also think keeping the same OP was the best choice. I can't think of anything topping Pink Blood and it's better to not fix what's not broken lol. The only series I know that keeps their OP the same is Hunter x Hunter.
