2022-12-02 04:38:37 +0000 UTCNo need for a poll Joe. Just watch Railgun :D. Light novel readers will say to watch index first, but a lot of anime onlys will say to start with Railgun. You can also just watch the first 9 or 10 (I forget which) episodes of Index to get an understanding of that side of the world existing, before switching (which is what I would have done in hindsight), as after that it goes into the arc that is much better and longer in Railgun season 2. Although stopping a show halfway through a season would definitely just piss some people off.

I also watched the first two seasons of Railgun before index, and a bit of season 3 (i only stated on index then because season 3 was still airing and was getting screwed around by COVID). I would recommend watching Railgun first to anyone, especially to not spoil a certain major arc. The only time I specifically recalled being confused was wondering why one character was in a certain situation at the start of season 3, but that really wasn't a big deal.

2022-12-01 19:06:08 +0000 UTCScientific Railgun is a side story series that runs along with the main story where one of the supporting characters in the main story is the M.C. it's kind of cool seeing another character do their own thing in the story and when you're watching the main series You get that awesome feeling of knowing what that character is going through at the moment characters interact with each other. So again you don't really have to see the side stories but technically the order goes: After you finish the 1st season of Index You then go to the 1st season of Railgun After watching the 2nd season of index. Then you go to the 2nd season of railgun And so on... There's also Scientific Accelerator But that comes much more later lol it's ALOT

The Certain series suffer of something I like to call the "all threads lead to an ending where no consequences last", if it wins, you'll see what I mean.
