So here's the deal... between A Certain Magical Index, A Certain Scientific Railgun and A Certain Scientific Accelerator there are about 170 episodes of anime for this series...
We are about to finish Yona of the Dawn which is our Fantasy series so I present a choice...
YOU MAY ASK WHY I AM DOING THIS
That's because 170 episodes divided by 2 a week is 85... that's over a year and a half... even 4 episodes a week is about 42 weeks but at least that is less than a year... that's 20 months versus 10 months.

2022-12-03 16:49:52 +0000 UTCThere's even a more detailed list by episode splits, but that's too annoying to keep track of since you might need to, say, watch 8 episodes of Index I, then 12 or w/e episodes of Railgun, then the other bits of Index I, then the rest of Railgun, then Index II in bits then Railgun S in bits, so I wouldn't recommend it unless you legit follow a list pointing those out hahah

It's technically BOTH sci-fi & fantasy, because of end-game plot reasons (if we ever get New Testament adaptations after the last Old Testament volumes failed cuz of the Committee forcing the studio to speedrun the remaining LN volumes in S3, thus skipping a fuckton of content & causing confusion among anime-onlies)

Yeah sure there's a little fantasy in Index but I'd say it's literally half sci-fi and the other half fantasy, i guess. You could say railgun has fantasy as well since it's literally in the same universe as Index and goes along with the events of Index. So taking away the poll in which index shares the sci-fi genre just like Railgun doesn't sit right for me. I'm just putting my thoughts out there. Either way, I'll just vote for both series

Haven't seen the series so maybe it's totally worth it but that commitment sounds like reaction channel poison lol especially if you consider how many other shows you could watch through in the same amount of time. But I guess if enough people think it's good enough to warrant that then shit maybe that's the move. I think I'll personally abstain from voting and just see how it goes.
