IIRC, Index hold the grimoires because she's the only one who can perfectly memorize everything. Thats something she had before the grimoires

2023-01-04 20:40:41 +0000 UTCI know that anyone/everyone is thinking this, maybe, and I know you're trying to be "Anime only", but you can google the synopsis to some of these shows and not get spoiled. You keep saying, either figurative or literally, "I need/want to know more about "insert whatever". Look it up. Read as much as you want without trying to get spoiled about something. We know when you say something like that, it frustrates us not being able to tell you about whatever the question was. And also, most of the time, when you pause and ask a question about something going on, roughly 5-10 sec later, they explain it. I'm not trying to be a ass, but for most of us who have seen this, when you pause, and ask, we're like " just keep watching, they will tell you". Love all the work you do man. :) :)

2022-12-31 20:48:21 +0000 UTCYeah she's likely somewhere like 40's or 50's, since the only ppl older than her are literally ppl w/ grey hair (or even older than that, but technically physically they are similarly young like she is, albeit more adult-tier young tho) I think she's just meant to be a joke about how smoking & drinking beer stunts your growth or some shit, since she's a chainsmoker who binge drinks quite a lot (and her diet seems to be mostly meat based) Also the reason it can't be split among multiple people, is because as was said, the knowledge of the Grimoires themselves affect your brain etc. Think of it as a type of Corruption trope, so most people get physically corrupted, and eventually die because Humans simply ain't meant to use/know of the knowledge inside Grimoires, so the body/mind tends to self-detonate after a while of usage/containment. Index is specifically engineered as a fitting person for that, who already had the baseline affinity when she was selected for this role, before all the mods that result in stuff like that auto-pilot mode she enters. Normies would likely burn out after using 1 or maybe 2 Grimoires for like half a dozen times max, yet she can contain 103k of em without disintegrating/reality warping to random shit physically

One of them gets fixed but the other doesnt due to the fanbase becoming rabbid otherwise. One is characters feeling the need to give full dialogue expositions like its some kind of play. With some unrealistic conclusions coming through, aka some Deus Ex situations. This somewhat gets fixed on later seasons and series. However as I continued watching I realised that it didnt have any permanent consequences in all the shows when Ive seen others with only 1 or 2 seasons that do so.
