Sure, but it scales even vs elites of previous gens so your point is moot, because a magician from a previous gen will always be inferior to their current gen offspring (and the scaling increases even more the further back you go) as far as raw magic stats etc go, and this is by design, hence why all the gobmints etc are softcore lowkey pressuring magicians to reproduce as much as possible, and w/ other magicians, since the effect is likely not as good if only 50% of your genes are from a magician(?)

2024-07-18 05:19:42 +0000 UTCThe part where Tatsuya was hugging Miyuki was Tatsuya sharing his psions (aka mana) so that Miyuki is able to 'see' the parasite. She needs to see her target in order to cast magic at her target. It's basically an advanced version of what happen in s1 during the invasions arc when Tatsuya held Miyuki's hand to let her see the position of the bad guys so that she can freeze their bullets.

2023-01-04 03:18:23 +0000 UTCNot sure if it was mentioned in the anime but it was explained that basically the students that come from the ten master clans and the "numbers" clans have had that kind of upbringing and training from early on due to their families position in the military, police or similar fields. Erika is from one of the "numbers" clans and Leo is a somewhat special case but as you might have guessed, he is the "tank" in the group, quite literally, as he specializes in fortification magic of all kinds. In season 1 Mizuki, the girl with the glasses, said or rather observed that at this school "normal" magicians are in the minority.

2023-01-03 02:05:08 +0000 UTCOh ok, yeah that makes sense that newer generations are stronger, but also I imagine that experience would play a large role with everyone outside of Tatsuya especially for people like Erika and Leo who aren't Tatsuya but also lack that OP magic of others. Its characters like that who I see beating up adults and I just have to imagine that the grown ups sent to defeat them are just trash I guess?

2023-01-02 20:49:11 +0000 UTCThe rips in her leggings means she's dressed too sluttily to appear on the streets by walking, because the skin is showing to non-approved level as far as social standards go Also there's a REASON why "grown adults not as strong as high schoolers" and it's because MAGIC GETS STRONGER THE MORE THE GENETICS MIX, so each gen is superior to their parents as far as capacity for magic goes, as the selective breeding among the 10 Master Clans refines further each successive gen (Magicians have existed as a pseudo-species for only like 100 years, at least in the modern capacity (i.e artificially refined in labs for 1st gen Magic Technicians (or in the case of brokeass bitches like African countries w/o the resources for infrastructure for cloning or gene editing, they just forced ppl w/ MCA to fuck at gunpoint, since magic was OP af during WW3, so every country focused on that via eugenics & gene editing for refinement reasons), which is why each clan of Magicians have functions modified to certain specializations (in the case of the Yotsuba, this would be the enhancement of the MCA capacity overall, and focus on mental abilities (i.e Mental Interference Type Magic, a sub-division of Outer Systematic Magic (i.e doesn't rly apply to physics types like the others, Spiritual Interference Type Magic also falls under this)). This focus on Magic Calculation Area & mind-related abilities is why Yotsuba can use Flash Casting, as well as share sensory data among themselves via physical contact, as seen in S1 between Miyuki & Tatsuya), so they are nowhere near a stable genetic point since it's been like, what, 3-4 gens total so far of lab-grown Magic Technicians?), so each successive gen has more OP power levels than their parents (Yotsuba have already shown the dangers of this, as they are already by Miyuki & Tatsuya's gen starting to outpower the rest of the Clans solo. They are basically a mini enclave in a sense inside Japan, there's a reason Virginia Balance mentioned their infamous nickname, the Untouchables, which most intelligence divisions and even powerhouse military factions would know by this point in time).
