Well, visual novels are in their basic form just a picture book with occasional choices that happens to be played on either a console or PC. You would only click whatever button you use to get the next line of text to pop up or select your choice in the branching story. As for the otome villainess trope, I'll just link a video explaining the development of the archetype. The short story, however, is that there were no one original source that these shows took from. The original otome villainess was the classical ojou-sama archetype, which was widespread throughout manga, anime and visual novels throughout the 90s and withered away during the 2000nds. This character was supposed to be everything that the main female lead wasn't: arrogant, loud, rich, entitled, do OHOHOHO laughs. This developed into the modern ojou-sama, which is supposed to showcase the virtues of a "noble lady" was supposed to have, such as calm and grace. 2023-01-07 21:23:45 +0000 UTCThe actor guy said he would see her soon whilst looking at the female main char on the box and when they where introducing the love intrests earlier they said one doesn't enter till later. Is he going to be the 5th love intrest and go into the game somehow??? Also from what they said it seems that liselote isn't really a villan shes just misunderstood and when in the normal flow of the game the prince leaves her for the female main character she gets possesed by a evil witch who is the true villian. Prob not a wild guess to say the witch will most likely still be the true villain and she will possess a differant character if they can save liselote.

2023-01-07 07:20:54 +0000 UTCDidn't read the original LN yet but have read the manga and I really like the romances in parallel we get to see both the game side and reality side how Endo and Kobayashi getting closer when playing the "game". Also when the prince get to know more terms like "tsundere" and think: "oh! more words from the divine gods..." is really hilarious.
