I didnt play the game either outside a few clips and the Nier raid in FF14 but holy shit Mikasa voicing 2B is so hot. Def had some rough scenes ngl but the music and characters are so cool and I kinda like the idea of fighting giant machines. also that thigh squish at the end sheeesh they really trying to do her justice LOL. Also the anime is a direct animation of the game so we are getting a ton of game "spoilers" and its version 1.1a because they understand Automata (people say it Ah-tah-muh-tuh as 1 word as if it has no syllables) has multiple endings and cant recreate it all and have it make sense.

2023-01-08 01:43:46 +0000 UTCIndeed, The Goliaths looked great, so did the stubs I can understand that one scene with 2B in the Flight unit looked horrible in comparison. I wouldn't be all that surprised if that was the Model from the game as we don't see it from that angle a lot. Otherwise I thought the few beginning scenes with 2B's 2D model in the 3D Flight unit was fine. I don't see CGI or 3D models very easily though so could just be me. :o

2023-01-08 00:49:11 +0000 UTCAlso it makes sense since this is based on the bidya gaem series and all that, like the enemy units + the jet are rly like the game assets in a sense. It just looks shit cuz it clashes w/ anime 2D bits since it's made for a 3D game and all that, visuals wise

2023-01-07 22:47:52 +0000 UTCI wouldn't be all that surprised if they use the 3D model looks on scenes with the flight units/"mechs" and aerial combat, or if there are Lots of robots at once. I'm way less bothered by such stuff then the general watchers are though. It would annoy me more to have it pointed out every single time it happens xD

2023-01-07 22:43:31 +0000 UTCI would 100% encourage anyone who hasn't played NeiR Automata to play it. It is one of my favorite games. It has some incredible and unique storytelling. I am very curious to see what kind of path the anime takes because the game is very unique and wild with how it does things. Also NieR music slaps on a different level. I think it might be ok to not worry about the multiple endings the anime is going to show. The puppet thing and text at the end about self-destructing is literally an ending of the game. Also side note about the character designs, I think I read somewhere that some reasoning for his design of 2B was something along the lines of "I just really like girls"

2023-01-07 22:31:48 +0000 UTCyour pronouncing it right! now go play the game D= also since this episode followed the game pretty closely if the rest does it aswell, we really wont see much much more of the flying parts I think it was only used a couple times in the game and mostly as a mode of transportation
