Update
Added 2023-01-13 16:39:26 +0000 UTCI’m dropping Urusei Yatsura. It’s just not for me. I personally find it cringe and not very funny. It all stems back to the humor being catered to a Japanese audience but not really for other audiences.
Also I likely won’t be continuing with all the new seasonal series I’ve recently started watching on stream. I’ll update you all when I decide what’s staying and going for for now I’m definitely continuing Magical Revolution and Ice Guy. I think the first 2 episodes of each sold me on the entire season. I’ll attempt to do a 2-4 episode rule for them all though.

Once I finish Golden Time I'll be looking for a new romcom to replace it. Just make sure you recommend it and lets hope it wins!

It kind of sucks because if something isn't funny to you, then that means it's just sort of...stupid and there's not really anything that can change that. Mob Psycho is a victim of that for me and it bums me out because I know it's a masterpiece for so many people.

This show, not so much, unfortunately rom-coms of the time tended to be as subtle as a sledgehammer. Still, if you are looking for something small to fill the hole left by said sledgehammer, I'd recommend the 7 episode mini-series Geo Armor Kishin Corps. Can't go wrong with turboprop powered giant robots. :3

2023-01-13 16:54:53 +0000 UTCAs someone who will also probably be trimming some personal watches i Wholeheartedly agree that Icy Guy and Magical Revolution actually look like the few that actually have some series depth or layers to them and more wholesome journeys/experiences instead of just being the strongest
