So he doesn't give a fuck about living anymore rly, he just doing the auto-pilot mode for the most part. I think he was sold to slavery for the crime of attacking the current King of England (normally that's death penalty, but I guess Canute was like "aight" and told em to sell him to slavery as penalty for said capital crime)
