I wouldn't go that far. I read the LN for this and it's very good, but not Slime good. I have a very scary feeling the anime is just going to be mid because they treat it like every other isekai and don't let it be it's own thing. They story for this one is very good though. If the anime does turn out mid highly suggest checking out the manga or LN.

Ngl, when I first saw the trailer, I was expecting a wholesome yet action-packed isekai show. But the fact that there're actually some funny and cutesy moments was a surprise, but a welcome one.

So in case it wasn't obvious when Fran was wishing for power looking at the moons, each of those moons represent a deity of the planet (so their materialization waxes & wanes alongside their respective moon's lunar cycles), so she's basically crying out to the gods out of desperation essentially

I've read the first 5 light novels, and the sword and Fran have more of a father-daughter relationship from what I remember. The dynamics between the 2 is quite fun. I would describe the story as an action/slice-of-life/adventure

The story of this series is great! I know the manga and would put it very close to Slime. The dynamics of the story are great and Fran is the best. I'm curious how well the anime is made. I like it a lot so far!
