2023-10-23 02:40:39 +0000 UTCMy problem is it was hyped the hell out from source readers, specifically that A. The Girls are well written and B. MC is the biggest Gigachad. The first episode gave me the opposite impression, the girls felt like walking tropes and nothing else and the MC's Rizz is literally plot armor where the girls are "brainwashed" into liking him because Fate. Apparently according to source readers I'm wrong and I have to ignore what I just saw with my eyes where they were thirsting over him after literally bumping into him and the God literally said they were his destined soulmates?

2023-10-10 19:57:58 +0000 UTCThe first chapter, like many harem romcoms, is the least-interesting of the bunch because it has to do the setup. This episode covered chapter 1 ONLY. It will take a while, but I love the absurdity of the later chapters (past about chapter 30). I still love these opening chapters, though. I think if you watch the next episode and still don't find it enjoyable, then it probably isn't for you. What I like about this series is the interactions between the GF's and the extreme lengths Rentarou goes to in order to make them happy. The interactions will start in the next episode, and the extreme lengths Rentarou goes to will start probably around mid-season, but really show up in the second cour. I hope you stick with it, as the comedy ramps up to the extreme as it goes on. If you haven't seen THE panel, search up '100 gf panel', go to images and you will know it when you see it. You can't mistake the wall of text of Rentarou explaining what he likes about his (at the time) 9 GF's. EDIT (And spoilers): Here are some of the GF's that show up in the later parts if you want a bit more info to decide to stick with it: - a hangry big eater - a sports (and pain) obsessed tomboy - a yankee teacher - a chuuni playing bard - a violinist who like violence - a martial artist afraid of anything she can't punch

2023-10-10 17:04:52 +0000 UTCThis easily beats the first episode of many harems. This was hilarious. I think the issue is that comedy is subjective and you just didn't like the comedy in it. Plenty of other anime you can watch airing this season. This is in my upper half of the 23 or so anime that I'm watching.

So source readers....what exactly do you like about it? Because I feel gaslighted, I have not seen loads of Harems but of the ones I have seen. (Even the ones that I'm told are "bad") this was honestly the weakest one so far. I wouldn't bring it up since its just episode 1 and I like to let it cook, but the amount of source readers circlejerking it is leaving me confused. What exactly about this episode was "peak?"

2023-10-08 23:04:20 +0000 UTCThis is one of my favorite series. Looking forwards to how it pans out. Get ready for tons of 4th wall breaks, references to other series, and just pure comedy. Where we are right now in the manga, i think we are at 26 or 27 girlfriends, so we are still far off from completion. There's only one character I am 100% against, and she'd probably show up in season 2 if they ever do another. Otherwise, they are all awesome and funny in my opinion.

The story starts to get WILD as it goes along, and I can't wait to see them adapted! Also, the manga also has a chapter for when the anime was announced, and Rentarou literally kills common sense. I love this manga so much
