2023-10-12 14:33:21 +0000 UTCthe story in bakemonogatari is not complex but the characters are which makes it hard to analyse why or if something happens. Hanekawa for example. The vampire charisma part that you believed at first, was just not possible in regard of the other girls but was told from a character that knows everything and does not lie thorough the story...(even though she says she does not know everything...so does she now everything because she always lied? :D). Thats the special kind of complexity this anime has that many people seem to miss. Do not underestimate this kind of story telling.
