2023-10-10 22:41:42 +0000 UTCI still recommend that you watch 2006 Fate/Stay Night in your own time so you get a more “fulfilled” overall story of the original. Hope you do watch Kara no Kyoukai though, same multiverse as Fate and animated by Ufotable, with music by Yuki Kajiura herself.

It's nothing like UBW or Zero or Heavens Feel in terms of production value or story, but what it does have is a great cast and good (if lower budget) action sequences. Some of Fate's most popular and well liked characters come from Apocrypha

Showcases Gilgamesh and the kind of King he was (he was fantastic). It’s the highest rated Fate after the main Stay Night routes. But from this list, then Apocrypha has a interesting and fun concept with how they handle the holy grail war.
