That was as flashback when we say Godfreyd btw. yes Castrato is a thing, some ancient religious sects used it on Choir boys to keep them higher pitched. His compartmentalized revenge is actually very accurate and true to life that very much is a you issue not understanding reality. This show would honestly be very cringe if it was non stop edgelord revenge porn like you seem to have wanted. As for the show itself...I think there were definitely some parts were the adaptation I could tell was lesser than the source, and the execution was lacking in some area, but there was nothing inherent about the content I thought was bad or lacking. I honestly think it was superior to My Happy Marriage which was a much more flawed show but had prettier production values to hide it.

I liked how it felt the world was "complete" with different ways of thinking, some structure to the magic system, mannerisms, little details of how things work etc. I'm also the opposite of you in regards to Oliver. Most killers, revenge or otherwise, live otherwise normal lives and have loved ones. In this sense, he is similar to Rem who people love because waifu. What you suggested is closer to Origami (moderate) and Adonis (extreme) and I honestly feel wouldn't fit with this show.

2023-10-18 23:29:33 +0000 UTCI disagree with the animation being mid, it's better than most seasonal shows nowadays, but we shouldn't set the bar too high and compare it to a MAPPA show or something. For JC Staff, it's actually pretty decent.

2023-10-18 22:20:26 +0000 UTCI think Oliver's killing intents only got reinforced till EP6 instead of at the beginning, has indicated that this series wasn't going to solely focus on his schemes of teachers hunting; but the alternative events with other students weren't enough to keep lots of the audience's interest, as the alternative events got alternative level of budgets.
