I keep gradually enjoying this anime more and more. After episode 1, I was like "ok, this isn't bad". Now I'm all about it. This is a fantastic anime!

He's salty the fact a human with a short lifespan can outdo Demons (And him in particular) With their many many years of practice. Thing about creatures with shorter lifespans is there is an incentive both both innovate for geniuses before they die, and for non geniuses copy, pass around, and refine things from none geniuses. Demons lack the same incentive to innovate and aren't as social as humans (Except when circumstances demand it.) To pass their innovations on. Each Demon is an Island. Its kind of the same with Elves excepts Elves aren't evil.

It shows the two sides of the character the kind that cries at the lose of her dear friends and the cold merciless monster killer.
