Op feels sad....
The Two main characters one wants to die, the other wants to be able to live amongst people without killing them with a touch.
Yeah its sad, I prefer to think of it as broken people reaching for the light.
Andy already let his countdown run down so I don't think him believing he can live will help that much.
I think its more the will to resist death and live on. Like a metaphor for how death is inevitable but we can fight and claw against it for as long as possible, as they can't remove the countdown even if they can delay it.
They mentioned last episode that town was often used to film Westerns, that storage was gunpowder for use in special effects.
I think Shin used his power to cause Spoils aim with his laser the first time to miss.
I also think that was the smaller statue of Liberty at Los Angelas rather than the One at New York so much smaller and less far away.
