The only thing that we’re sure of is that Rit is about to do something to Red in bed that’s for sure. The mysteries going on in the town do make the story really interesting. can’t trust anyone right now

2023-11-19 00:45:08 +0000 UTCI think with Helck a lot of anime fans have a bias against more episodic/comedic shows that take awhile or don't have an overarching plot. That and some people (like yourself) have an anti slice of life bias. (Which is BS.) I haven't seen Helck or the other more edgelord shows your watching, but I've heard things from them so that is just my speculation but I've seen similar things with the reception of shows I have seen.

2023-11-18 19:03:58 +0000 UTCThe lack in the animation department is pretty normal for adaptations like these, I'd say. Unless the source material is some high profile one that has a bigger following, these types of shows are relegated to being "B tier" just so they can fill the season out. It's just that we've been spoiled so much by the animation quality from the bigger budget studios of more popular series. I do agree that the animation, overall, isn't bad. And the world building does more than make up for it on that front, even though some of the world building aspects are also rushed and/or glossed over.
