Knowing now that Shanks was on Rogers crew, gotta wonder...did he know his captain had a son? Or did they find out when the world found out. π€

2023-11-30 03:02:43 +0000 UTCBlackbeard had to be the biggest winner in the Summit War. Blackbeard, through this whole process, got a strong crew, unimaginable infamy, and Whitebeard's fruit. The Marines, while accomplishing their goal of killing Ace and Whitebeard, didn't get to show off their spoils of war, weren't able to erase the Whitebeard Pirate group, had hundreds of Impel Down escapees, and had thousands of casualties. The Whitebeard Pirates and Luffy lost Ace and Whitebeard as well as thousands of casualties of their own. I guess you could say Buggy was also a big winner in this war; he got infamy as a big pirate who knows Shanks and was on Roger's ship as well as hundreds of strong subordinates in the form of the Impel Down escapees. Those things weren't what he himself wanted though, so idk if I would count that as a win for Buggy.

In all of Ace's memories with Luffy that we know of, Luffy already had the hat from Shanks as well as the rubber fruit. I hypothesize that Luffy actually lived in the village where he met Shanks and did the whole thing there before meeting Ace. 1:03:45 In the part after Luffy wakes up, we see Luffy not knowing who Ace is and still having the straw hat already. Many such cases in the past & will be in the future as well), it should be fixed by the time New World becomes more relevant (and thus the Yonko, since their territories are on that side in the end-game PVP area etc)

2023-11-29 19:07:04 +0000 UTCI think you have to consider what would happen if the world found out that the hero of the navy betrayed the navy. Everyone would go into a panic and garp knows this. Sengoku even said that Garpβs family has been overlooked because he has the title of the hero. Sengoku knows what would happen if the hero of the navy were to die or be executed. In that aspect, Garp basically has the weight of the world on him. Sorry for the long comment but that is my perspective on this.
