This series has shown that it's not afraid to at least insinuate something like that. I mean his name is Perv Asshat and he's bounding the mom, doubt he wouldn't mind getting a taste of the daughter on the side. Even if he's not outright having sex with her, doesn't mean he's not getting plenty of other action from her.

It's obvious that Rose's reaction to seeing the truth has nothing to do with seeing her mom having sex and has all to do with finding out that the entire reason she is currently sacrificing her life and agreeing to marry Asshat for turns out to be this vile nasty bitch who has betrayed her in the worst way possible. I mean, Rose clearly loved her mom enough to agree to marry Asshat, the guy who brainwashed her dad, to try to keep her safe, and yet the mom wants her dead, was directly involved in said brainwash of her dad, and has clearly been in this relationship with Asshat prior to her dad's death. Just one of these three things is a big enough betrayal from your own blood mother, and she finds out that the bitch is betraying her in three different ways...

Next weeks episode should be the finale of the first arc, and I'd guess they'll finish the anime with a teaser for the second arc. So if you want to start reading the LNs after the anime finishes, you will want to start partway through the 4th volume (chapter 4).
