I have to say though I think they did a good job and I hope this isn’t also the last major role of their career lol.

Kumika no Mikaku, a slice of life/cooking/sci-fi series that was just pure perfection. Seing them go from that genre to this was bizarre to say the least. It's a decent manga, but.... not my cup of tea. Mainly just due to the intense amount of S&M stuff that happens. Otherwise it's pretty good. I keep up with it, but I highly prefer the author's other series compared to this. So you can say I am salty Kumika didn't get picked up, but this did.

Also Mahou Shoujo transformations work like this: Debut, then only important/emotional hype moments show the full transformation sequence, otherwise it's the speedrun insta-transformation variant
