Your comment about how it's weird that Japanese might play genres of music like Jazz is so incredibly ignorant and narrow-minded. We just went through a whole arc about discrimination and ignoring stereotypes, bigotry and labelling people by what they look like. Who cares what country you're from in order to play Jazz??? It's not restricted to one country or culture. That's not what music is even about. And to say that after this whole arc is completely missing the point. Never got the memo..... Some people.

2024-02-08 22:06:23 +0000 UTCOne pace would include those reactions if the manga had them. It’s how the author intended it to be. Also that’s the worst example of anime padding. Yes, anime adds extra scenes and goofy moments with the crew but they are clearly optional since the manga didn’t have them. You might like certain scenes of those but I think pacing is way more important than prioritizing anime-only filler scenes.

Like if something Crazy happens and normally you would see peoples reaction of it. All cut out. Stuff like that builds moments of Epicness. For example as far as I remember. In Marine Fort when they said that Luffy was Dragons son, all the reactions of the people being shocked, all just cut out. Those few seconds I wouldn't call "Padding" it's a genuin Reaction because no one expected it, except for the Viewer that already knew. But One Pace is like "nah bruh, that's padding. We have no time for anything except talking". So only if you don't really give a fuck and just want to catch up. Then One Pace might be good. But I don't think Joe is like that.

I don't think I could really get past a guy basically complicit in a genocide getting to be a Straw Hat and getting like a "free pass" on having to make up for his involvement in that incident as well as anything else he has done or allowed as an Admiral in the navy

Jinbe is 46, then Franky is 36, Robin is 30, Zoro and Sanji is 21, Nami is 20, Usopp and Luffy is 19 and Chopper is 17 😊 18:35 - Robin isn’t really the one to demand others to tell the whole story 😅 She’s a person that plays with the cards close to her chest From what I calculated, though this is without skipping any fillers, consistent watching and new episodes of the shows every week. If you watch 10 episodes per week it would take 58 weeks, and if you watch 8 per week it’s 77 weeks. This might be shorter depending on you skipping episodes, or no new episodes for some weeks
