2024-02-01 13:19:46 +0000 UTCi think those days are still here but this show IS SEXUAL in nature, Utena is on her BDSM shit, Dollhouse girl is a kid and making people do sexual shit, Kiwi wants to fuck Utena sooooo bad. Like THIS series specifically has established it is weird even when it has cute moments so of course I'm gonna be wary when they introduce a child as a main member of the cast.

Even her tone of voice was normal and sincere. That's quite literally NOT being weird at all. She did get weird afterwards with the Alice in Wonderland look, but honestly I don't think it was sexual weird as much as just fangirling. So I think you can chill out a bit. Utena's not THAT bad. Putting the weird drooling face aside, what happened to the days when "cute" was allowed to mean just "cute," and not "Oh no, she said that character's cute, she's totally lewding her somehow!"

Also I'm quite sure they WILL do them again if the series gets a S2 (likely given high af blu-ray sales & other merch shit), as can be seen w/ any other Magical Girl series where each season resets the animation sequence counter (Symphogear comes to mind especially)
