So much of the dialogue suggested and implied that they were outside the plantation. Crazy how can one miss that for so long through the episode.

2024-02-17 15:29:10 +0000 UTCI love seeing Joe vibe to the Op, it's one of my favorite anime openings ever. It's also very funny that it took Joe almost the whole episode to frealize that we are outside xD But we technically know since ep 1 that there is no Ocean in the Plantation. The Plantation are big, but not that big to fit a ocean inside xD Because 02 said in Ep 1 that she wants to go to the Ocean. And like we found out in this Episode and could've fguessed from previous Episodes. The outside world is abandoned, because of the Klaxosaur. They basically escaped into the Plantation. The Adults live inside the Plantation in a big City that we've seen a few times. And the Kids basically live at the top of the Dome in a house with a lake, forest and windows to see the sky. Which they called Birdcage. So this whole Beach thing was a reward for them protecting the 2 Plantation during the Kissing process. And it did a bit of world building. Because this basically confirmed that the outside world is abandoned
