2024-02-24 00:15:01 +0000 UTCNo, I'm quite sure it's depicting the Goddess (hence the wings & the ears, as well as the crown, denoting someone who is hierarchically equal to Royalty (considering how royalty in general in the shit-ages were practically gods social hierarchy etc wise, in fact questioning a royal's supposed divinity would be instant death penalty in most cultures even), so the king is prolly some Gilgamesh tier mf, the first king in the world or w/e), since we know from a previous mention that she USED TO walk the world back in the day whenever, but at some point stopped (most likely she's bing chillin' in heaven or w/e, IDK tbh). This is why the statues depict her as she does, since meatbags were able (with good luck, of course) to see her quite clearly. IMO it would make sense if Elves are some type of degenerative variant from w/e lifeform grouping she's part of, which would explain why Elves are practically immortal lifespan etc wise, w/ essentially 0 sex drive or interest in romance (after all, if they originate as a degenerative variant of a higher grouping, they logically would never have evolved to have such base drives to begin with). Also would explain why their numbers go more & more down from millennia ago, w/o having any real evidence of ever recovering so far.
