2023-02-25 20:43:43 +0000 UTCIt definitely does look like a past trauma changed Fujimiya's personality quite a bit. In that flashback, it did seem like he was more confident and outgoing... but something happened with that "friend" of his that caused him to become the way he is right now. Though, I suspect the way he saved Shiina in their HomeEc class was the side of his personality that got repressed, momentarily showing itself because of her. I actually like the gradual progression of their bond slowly evolving from strangers to friends, and quite possibly even more soon. It's still early but this show is my pick for best romcom anime of 2023, at least until something crazier in the next 3 seasons blows me away.
