The father's line was uncalled for, and I think the point is to show how drastic of an affect words can have on how a child grows up. It really affected her mental health negatively. On top of that, we were now told that the witch of yore attacks her psyche. Through all of that, it really isn't her fault anymore how she acts. This may be my favorite aspect of this show because she isn't a tsundere for the sake of being a tsundere.
