2023-04-03 16:48:02 +0000 UTCI guess, technically Papa Shirogane was pretty wealthy I'd say, after all he did own a pharmaceutical company & all that (the type that manufactures drugs, not the type that sells em, and even the latter type is usually owned by ppl who are around millionaire tier at least, because of how expensive such a thing is & all the licenses etc are), even if it went belly-up at one point due to treason against him

2023-04-03 10:58:02 +0000 UTCQuick little thing about Kaguya wanting an "ordinary romance" Just remember her whole life has been being considered "extraordinary" to the average person and she's learned that she is NOT happy with that lifestyle ESPECIALLY after meeting Miyuki who is someone from an "ordinary" background. Her chance encounter with him showed her how much fun life is when it IS ordinary and not full of false pretenses and praises which is why she was always so emotional for the most simplest of things (seeing fireworks, taking photos with friends, spending time with friends, etc.). To her, "ordinary" IS extraordinary and she wants to live with more of that. The balloons confession, while I still absolutely love, is kind of like a metaphor of Miyuki still looking at Kaguya as "extraordinary" or "out of his reach" and she would rather become someone "ordinary" like the person she fell in love with. Kaguya doesn't want to be seen as "Kaguya-sama" anymore. Just...Kaguya
