Yamada being in 3rd year high school would make him no younger than 17. Very seldom do we see romance shows that have an older female MC... and though not a big difference, at least a 3 year gap in age at that. Super excited to see how their dynamic and relationship evolves through the course of the show.

2023-04-09 02:59:49 +0000 UTC3rd year means 12th grade. High school in japan in 10-12. 1st year, 10th 2nd year, 3rd year 12th. So he's 17 or 18 depending on his birthday and how far into the year this is. Not sure about her age but at least 20, because 20 is the drinking age in Japan.
