If this doesn't come back to bite them in the ass. I'll be surprised. Watch one of the competitors running for president against them use her to win the presidency from them with her backing them against them. Using her to tell them all their secrets about Ariel. She has no reason to keep quiet about it anymore. They literally betrayed her. Someone is going to take advantage of her and use her because of that. They want her to be free and yet they left her alone to be preyed on by all of their enemies with their agendas. Because they suddenly thinks she has no value? That's just stupid. Suletta has a lot more value than they seem to know or maybe that's just me projecting.

2023-05-21 21:05:37 +0000 UTC14:40 To oversimplify Shaddiq's ultimate goal (this is mentioned in ep 15 aka the "Guel episode" when discussing with his adopted father), basically he wants to create "peace through mutually assured destruction" as he is half-Earthian. To do this, he needs to become President and slowly sell the Benerit Group's assets to the Earthians to weaken the Spacians and strengthen the Earthians. Ideally in Shaddiq's vision, this would eventually lead to a scenario where they are both around equal in strength, and while both groups would still hate each other, they would never declare war on each other as war would lead to the deaths of many on both factions (effectively creating a cold war).

2023-05-21 20:57:57 +0000 UTCI feel like the 1 thing WfM has issues with is how their expanded lore into the way companies are managed seem as if they would collapse without so many things landing in place for them due to luck. Besides that I think that this second cour, which JP is calling its second season for some reason, wont end in a note as high as I think it could have. Last episode gave me the impression we might get a Code Geass ending where both close parties end up in a stand off that we dont know the result of until the next time it gets a continuation. But now with this episode, its seems less likely, with Sulletta probably doing something dumb due to everyone pushing her away, that makes the final 4 episodes a road to fix it.
