Will we continue with the Index universe (that can be Index S2 or Railgun S2) or do we start a different Sci-Fi anime (this doesn't mean I will never come back to it)?

I feel like Ive read this same description for a few previous fantasy entries. It might just be me but fantasy has been getting oversaturated lately. With isekai being the most mindlessly printed, with romcoms being second as of lately. At least as a result we've been getting gems in ocassion.

I dont know if its just me but its the show I was the most invested in just due to the idea of Accels power being handicapped while also being extremely borken, plus the cuteness of the smol clone :3.

2023-05-27 15:52:30 +0000 UTCBasically Earth & fantasy world fuse together at some point due to unknown reasons, which basically kills all gods on fantasy world cuz suddenly there's 2x+ ppl w/ 50% of the total population not believing in them (because they are from Earth, duhh), so they die from lack of Fate as a consequence. This is what makes the sci-fi setting possible, because gods would have stopped it before mortals could do something that OP (i.e the nerds from our planet & nerds from fantasy world got together & made an entirely new field that fuses tech & magic together, which actually increases the magic capacity of avg normies cuz of this type of implant smart assistant device thingie you see in literally any cyberpunk or just cookiecutter sci-fi setting, which automates magic usage (no need for chants or nuffin, the assistant does it in purely automated way), which actually means even shit-tier normies can use magic to rly OP extent compared to pre-merge. Literally we see rly early on a fucking ORC use magic faster than even any of the pre-merge magic-attuned races could do), so it's a good thing they got pepsi'd. So basically the 2099 starts once ya boi the Demon Lord self-respawns his Soul (this technique needed one of his underlings to be there to initiate it, since until this ritual-tier magic, his Soul was pepsi, this just respawns his Soul from death, making him truly immortal vs not merely physically immortal), and since he's new to this post-merge shit, it works akin to the Isekai info dump thingie trope (I suppose it IS an Isekai technically, since even tho he respawns where he died at more or less, Earth & the fantasy world have smashes their mass together by now, so random shit is everywhere zoning wise etc, as some land from Earth collides w/ fantasy world land etc)

2023-05-27 13:16:15 +0000 UTCOof... not looking too good on the polls. Index is a bit of an acquired taste... Railgun is slightly better, if you can tolerate some of the cringe stuff in it. But Accelerator is where peak is at for this series. I guess a break from this series might be needed... if you continue on straight, most people will be burned out by it. Maybe give it another 1 or 2 seasons before continuing the series (assuming it loses on this poll).

2023-05-27 01:02:58 +0000 UTCSuch a shame that the Demon Lord 2099 anime that got a teaser visual some months back has gotten no release date as of now etc. I rly liked the LNs myself so far, and am having big expectations within 1-2 years it will prolly get announced (I assume based on other animes' 1st teaser key visual releases & then the actual trailer + series release)
