When Japanese people say "Umai" or "Oishii", "Oishii" is more polite than "Umai". perhaps it's similar to the difference between delicious and good. In Anime, They are a part that shows characters' personality and doesn't sound feminine nor masculine. But Women more likely use Oishii around me and Men also say Oishii in real life.

Im a bit sad that the Orbital entry was such a mondain event. I wont spoil but if you do get to watch other entries, then Ill just say surfing is on the menu.
