I’m talking in present tense. there’s also the possibility of him staying the same height. use whatever logic you want but ichikawa present tense in the anime looks like a baby compared to yamada and it simply bothers me. It doesn’t stop me from liking the show as a whole. But it does hold me back from calling it peak unfortunately.

Like this first date was extremely awkward and it honestly felt like their chemistry just didn't quite match up most of the time but that's exactly why it feels so real. Exceptionally well done in my opinion About the comparison to Kaguya-sama: Honestly it's quite difficult to even compare those 2 and it's hard for me to say which is better as well because they have such different focus and energy. Even though they're clearly both romcoms, they're obviously going for very different things and in my opinion both are pulling it off perfectly in their own way.
