2023-06-23 03:59:33 +0000 UTCNotice when Oreki screamed bloody murder that was another thing he didn't have to do that wasn't conserving energy, nor did it have anything to do with his "talent" he simply really cares, and took a risk and that might have not paid off. That is something beginning of series Oreki would NEVER have done. In the Novels he had a brief internal monologue wrestling with whether or not he was going to do it. In the anime it was representing with his irritated leg tap, which is a tic of his when he is angry, anxious, or nervous.

The thefts going around have actually been mentioned since episode 1 in a blink and you'll miss it moment where the acapella club had something stolen and they mentioned a note. Mayaka and the Senpai actually get into beefs and arguments a lot where its a reoccuring thing, the president was ready and took advantage of it, but the argument itself was real. Mayaka and that Senpai are actually the (unwilling) leaders of two factions that are at odds in Manga Club and that's one reason there is that tense atmosphere whenever Mayaka is there. Also think your kinda being a dick about the Wall Newspaper Club guy tbh, he can't just put anyone that asks in the Newspaper article, its a fair demand he's making.
