2023-06-25 16:00:56 +0000 UTCYeah space combat in this series is frenetic thanks to the Alaya Vijana providing their pilots greater spacial awareness and translating their thoughts directly into information the machine can process. The Turbines battle coming up next is one of my favourites due to how they work around constraints, its like a real tank battle!!! As to the Calamity War, Season 2 mainly takes the wheel there, though Urdr Hunt gives us a glimpse, just a tiny slice of the cake that of said event that almost destroyed humanity.

2023-06-25 15:45:54 +0000 UTCIn regards to his thrusters having been hit more, it wasn't because it was more armoured and he was using that as a shield.. he commented that it was not part of a human body. Basically he realised that he the pilot system made the gundam move the way the pilot wants, in a more natural way - so he wasn't used to dodging something hitting a part that isn't "naturally part of the body" hence the thrusters kept getting hit. It showed his inexperience fighting in a suit, but experience as a fighter.

2023-06-25 13:55:33 +0000 UTCSomething to point out, each of the 72 Gundam frames was given a demon name from the Ars Goetia (72 demons in total). Barbatos was named after the 8th demon, hence the frame’s serial number ASW-G-08. And the pilot console shows the Barbatos sigil during system startup.
