The Seasonal Anime Exclusive to Patreon

Up to now Ive tinkered with variations of roughly the same thing which is me picking the ones I think people want me to watch based on ones people have wanted me to watch in the past. I might need to start off by not watching anything but the ones I definitely want to watch and then just doing a seasonal recommendation post and choosing the top 5 liked.
I'd love to hear your ideas on how I should handle it beginning in the Fall season.

Starting off with what you think interests you is always the best way to build your foundation. Then, for the other more obscure titles, you can play it by ear (usually after 1 or 2 episodes air, people on Twitter/Reddit start to highlight the hidden gems and dunk on the trash shows), then maybe start a poll to limit the number of obscure shows you'd be reacting to.

Start to react to all popular shows as usual 2. 3-4 weeks into the season, Pick 5-10 not popular seasonal anime that has at least some potential or intrigues you. 3. Stream 1 episode of each of the chosen not popular choices from step 2. 4. Pick 2-3 non popular ones to continue reacting to for the season.

2023-07-04 16:00:53 +0000 UTCYou should always start with what you like. On the other hand, this is just my opinion but I view you as one of the best reactors that react to underrated shows. Therfore just focusing on popular ones might not be a completely good idea. So a solution is to stream reactions to all the first episode of seasonal animes that you determine to be at least midly interesting and pick the one that you like or attracts views.

2023-07-04 15:57:38 +0000 UTCKeep in mind there is also stuff I had no interest in checking out until I saw your reaction, and then I watched it. So there is that angle too, but the opposite is true. I didn't watch Dangers in my Heart last season because I had no interest in the show. I was already watch too many other shows and spring was romance heavy enough. I also had personal reasons that I don't want to go into that made me shy away from the show.

2023-07-04 13:36:37 +0000 UTCits pretty much put up polls and see what people wanna see. try to cut back on old shows to reduce your work load if the new anime season has alot of promising shows. the spring line up was insane, summer seams demisnished for good shows and fall seems small line up too. as for youtube sheesh good luck with that cuz the algorithm is crazy and wonky as hell

So to go with your idea if fall is 18 shows max for sanity reasons and you want to watch 15 then the top 3 off of a poll of what you're not watching is what we get. The counts will change every season and some seasons Patreon will get more/less depending on available slots and hopefully everything is in as best balance as possible.
