Okay so the Magician is actually a real life occultist not a fictional character called Aleister Crowly (Yes the same one from A Certain Magical Index) In his house you can see the double triangle which is a trademark Thelemic symbol of his magical order/religion, ( 21:55 ) and the gate to his house has the sefirot which was important to many Magical Secret Societies at the time including the one Crowley was part of, The Golden Dawn. The Red Haired Woman is likely Camiella. Philleus Fogg is from another classic literature Novel "Around the World in 80 Days."

2023-08-03 22:16:49 +0000 UTCWe can presume the one w/ the weird zoomer haircut is Aleister Crowley (which is weird, as he should be the ONLY non-fictional famous person for some reason in this series), based on the Sefirot Tree pattern on the gate, and there's the symbol for Thelema on the wall too, so considering the era this seems to be set in cuz French fictional chars + Sherlock etc, it should check out. Aleister Crowley is after all one of THE most iconic Occultists from the 19th century, as he was the one to create the concept of Thelema, as well as the concept of True Will (incidentally, the latter gets actually featured in Index at certain intervals, in either S2 or S3, and there's a logical reason for this obviously)
