As it was established that the ones in the hoodies are special, it is possible the brother Tianchen already possessed some sort of power. 9:50-11:20 The gag here don't work well with ENG, so it was just plain ENG translation here. Throughout the entire conversation, the brother and Lu Guang instructed that "Point to yourself ('点'自己) and then nod your head ('点'头)." was really just asking "Point to yourself and then point to your head" the whole time, while "点" in Mandarin characters can be interpreted in many different ways, such as "pointing" or "tapping/nodding." Essentially Chen Xiaoshi mixed up the meaning of words from consecutive instructions with similar characters so he got confused there and made silly moves.
